The 2025 Mazda CX-90 PHEV features an electric motor connected to a 2.5-liter gas engine. This system delivers 323 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The all-electric range is 26 miles. This engine features all-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Appearance

Across the exterior, the Mazda CX-90 and the Mazda CX-90 PHEV are indistinguishable. Both are immaculately designed with a contemporary, sleek body. A metallic bar along the lower perimeter accompanies the smoothly defined side panels. Chrome also lines the small air inlet near the front fender and the lower fascia on the Mazda CX-90’s nose. The Mazda CX-90 PHEV adds fender molding, an amber accent light on the headlights, and reshaped air inlets on the front end.
