 What’s New for the 2026 MAZDA CX-30?

The subcompact Mazda CX-30 holds all of the athletic styling and next-level features that you want your next crossover to have, and it raises the bar in 2026 with several updates. One of these updates is the launch of two Aire Edition trim levels. Another important improvement is the now-standard limited-slip differential, which enhances the performance of every Mazda CX-30.

The Aire Edition is available with both the standard and turbo engine. Its standard engine is also found in some of the other Mazda CX-30 trim levels. This is a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine that delivers 191 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. It comes with all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission. The turbo engine pairs with the same drivetrain and transmission. This is a turbo 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that yields 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. If you add high-octane fuel to the tank, the output increases to 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque.

If you select the Aire Edition, your new Mazda CX-30 will add black 18-inch wheels and black badging to the exterior. The Mazda CX-30’s facade is undeniably sleek with eye-catching curves across the profile and angled contouring over the sides. The fenders are smoothly defined, and the Mazda CX-30’s entire lower perimeter is framed by dark molding. At the front, the slender LED headlights angle inward and connect with the broad grille. A thin, chrome element adds style to the grille. Exterior features available on the Mazda CX-30 are a power liftgate, black mirror caps, black or silver wheels, and roof rails.

Inside, the new Aire Edition features all the components of the Preferred trim level, along with gray suede trim and white leather seats. Across the trim lineup, you will find many of the same features in the 2026 Mazda CX-30 as were available in the 2025 model year. Some of these features include wireless smartphone app connections, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, paddle shifters, a heated steering wheel, a wireless charging pad, a head-up display, a 10.25-inch infotainment system display screen, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, and many additional features.
