The performance features of the 2023 and 2024 Mazda CX-50 are nearly identical, with slight tweaks to the steering and suspension systems. Lower trim levels boast a 187-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter gas engine. Higher trim levels offer a turbocharged 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine, generating 227 horsepower, which increases to 256 horsepower with high-octane fuel. Ground clearance varies from 8.3 to 8.6 inches based on the trim level. Some trims include a towing mode and steering wheel paddle shifters. All Mazda CX-50 models come with standard all-wheel drive and an automatic six-speed transmission.
Appearance
The 2023 and 2024 Mazda CX-50 share an identical stylish design. Characterized by a confident front-end design featuring a wide, upturned grille, sporty air vents, and compact headlights with a U-style LED ribbon in the center. Additional features include dark body molding, a tall roof with a steep descent through the liftgate, and athletically sculpted sides.
